Oakland Park Woman Arrested After Alleged Knife Threat in Road Rage Incident
In a recent road rage incident in Oakland Park, Florida, a 51-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly threatening another driver with a knife, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO).

Incident Details
The altercation occurred on Saturday in the 1200 block of Northwest 43rd Street. According to the BSO arrest report, the victim was navigating a detour when Jacqueline Waller, also attempting to reroute, began following him. Waller reportedly passed the victim in the oncoming traffic lane, abruptly swerved in front of his vehicle, and slammed on her brakes, causing a minor collision.
The victim exited his vehicle to address the situation, at which point Waller allegedly retrieved a black pocketknife from her car and swung it at him. The man fled and called for help, managing to photograph Waller’s license plate before she left the scene. Deputies later contacted Waller by phone, during which she made a confession, though specific details were redacted from the report.
Legal Proceedings
Waller was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is currently held at the BSO Main Jail with a bond set at $7,500.
