Chilling 911 Call: Man Stabs Fiancée, Says ‘She’s Not Doing Good’—All to Protect His Roommate!
Waterford Township, Michigan — A 25‑year‑old man has been arrested after allegedly fatally stabbing his 33‑year‑old fiancée inside their home. Seth Thomas Martin, authorities say, admitted to police that he carried out the attack because he believed his fiancée, Mallory Myers, was “driving a wedge” between him and his roommate.

Michigan prosecutors say Martin stabbed Myers roughly ten times—in the neck, chest, and arm—while they were in bed together. Shockingly, after the attack, Martin himself placed a 911 call. As he was on the line, he told dispatchers, “She’s right next to me—she’s not doing good.”
During a court appearance on Monday, the detective testified that Martin confessed to the lethal assault. Investigators say Martin admitted to having fantasized about killing Myers early in their relationship.
The fatal incident culminated later that day when Martin was taken into police custody without incident. Myers was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
At his arraignment, Martin was denied bond. His next court hearing—a probable cause conference—is scheduled for June 27.
This harrowing case highlights the devastating outcomes that can occur when jealousy and mental health issues spiral. Police continue to investigate additional motives or warning signs that may have preceded the crime.
