Tragic Georgia Shooting: Man Allegedly Kills Wife and 7-Year-Old After Threat
DeKalb County, Georgia — A man who allegedly made a chilling threat to harm children in his wife’s family is now accused of following through with that warning, leaving a woman and her 7-year-old niece dead.

The suspect, identified as 43-year-old William Almond, is facing murder charges after police say he fatally shot his estranged wife, 29-year-old Tomekia Pullins, and her young niece inside a DeKalb County apartment.
According to Pullins’ mother, Almond had previously made disturbing statements, allegedly saying he would “pop every kid” in the family. That threat came shortly before the tragic shooting took place.
Investigators believe the violence unfolded inside the family’s home, where Pullins and her niece were spending time. Police have not yet released the name of the child, who was reportedly visiting at the time of the incident.
Family members say Almond and Pullins had been separated, and tensions had been escalating. What triggered the deadly outburst remains under investigation, but officials are looking into whether prior domestic disputes or restraining orders were in place.
The community has been left stunned by the tragedy, particularly given the young age of one of the victims and the suspect’s alleged prior threats. Authorities are working to gather more evidence, including social media posts and witness accounts, to piece together the full story.
Almond is currently in custody. Prosecutors say additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues. No other suspects are being sought at this time.
The family, now grappling with an unimaginable loss, is asking for privacy and support as they begin to process what happened. Counselors have been brought in to assist surviving family members, especially children who may have been exposed to the trauma.
This developing story continues to unfold, and more details are expected to be released in the coming days. If you’d like to stay updated on the case or learn more about domestic violence prevention resources, just let me know.
