A 26-year-old man from Woodridge was killed Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash in Naperville, police report.

At approximately 9:35 p.m., officers and fire crews responded to a crash at the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Naper Boulevard. The motorcyclist, riding a 2024 Suzuki, was traveling east on Chicago Avenue at a high rate of speed when he entered the intersection on a green light. His bike collided with a 2024 VinFast SUV turning left from Maple Avenue onto Naper Boulevard.

The rider, identified as Dante Fields, was pronounced dead at the scene after first responders performed lifesaving measures.

Highway reconstruction specialists from Naperville Police are investigating the fatal crash. Police said no charges have been filed yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
