Tragedy in Riviera Beach: Woman Shot Dead, Gunman in Critical Condition

Recently, a heart-breaking incident has come to light at Riviera Beach. On Wednesday, 25 June 2025, a man shot a woman in a domestic dispute and then shot himself. The woman died on the spot but the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said that on receiving information about the shooting at 4002 Canopy Lane, they reached there and saw 2 victims lying bleeding. 2 victims were taken to the local hospital. Police also said that this incident was an attempt to murder-suicide.

Police were called to the scene after the shooting was detected by ShotSpotter at 6:51 pm. Police immediately reached the area and secured the scene.
