Following the issuance of an Amber Alert for his daughter and the child’s mother in Tamarac, the father of a 4-year-old girl was taken into custody on Sunday afternoon, according to deputies. Nathan Gingles, 43, was accused of breaking a court order prohibiting him from interacting with the mother and kid. The infant was located safely, but Mary Gingles, 34, her mother, was discovered dead at her residence following a gunshot wound, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. According to BSO, deputies were notified of a shooting near the 5700 block of Plum Bay Parkway, which sparked the incident. When deputies got to the location, they discovered a male who had been shot and was declared dead.

Andrew Ferrin was the casualty, according to family members.  “Very challenging. “It’s unthinkable,” Ferrin’s uncle remarked. “A woman was in the neighborhood knocking on actual doors and my nephew, who was home, happened to open the door for her.” Deputies said they learned a youngster had been seized from the home where Ferrin died as part of their ongoing investigation. The relationship between Ferrin, the child, and her mother has not been revealed by BSO. Seraphina Gingles, a 4-year-old child, was discovered to have been removed from the home as part of the investigation. She is reportedly dating a 43-year-old guy named Nathan Gingles, according to BSO spokesperson Carey Codd.

Nathan was reportedly traveling east on West Commercial Boulevard in a 2016 Silver BMX X3 with a Texas license plate. Nathan and Seraphina were discovered by cops after they found their car at a North Lauderdale Walmart later on Sunday. According to court records, the couple was going through a divorce. The murders of Ferrin and Mary have not yet resulted in Nathan being charged.
