A man who fatally shot his wife five times in the head while their children were nearby has been sentenced to life in prison. The brutal crime, which shocked the community, ended with the judge handing down the maximum sentence, ensuring the man will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
The horrifying incident took place inside the couple’s home, where authorities say the man opened fire on his wife in a fit of rage. Their young children were just feet away when the shooting occurred. Police arrived at the scene to find the woman dead, while the children, though physically unharmed, were visibly shaken.
