Man shoots ex-girlfriend after she tells him they need to go ‘their separate ways’: Cops
In a tragic incident in Florida, 41-year-old Robens Cesar has been charged with first-degree murder following the fatal shooting of his ex-girlfriend, 34-year-old Fridelene Daniel. The event occurred just hours after Daniel filed a police report accusing Cesar of stalking and harassment.
According to authorities, Daniel contacted the Boynton Police Department on the morning of the incident to report Cesar’s troubling behavior. Approximately 40 minutes later, witnesses reported hearing gunshots outside her residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered Daniel with multiple gunshot wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses observed a man fleeing the scene in a black Honda, which led investigators to Cesar’s residence about four miles away. He was taken into custody without incident. During questioning, Cesar allegedly confessed to the shooting, stating that Daniel’s decision to involve law enforcement was “the final straw.” He expressed that he “couldn’t stand to see Fridelene with another man” and was attempting to reconcile with her.
