Jealous wife ran over woman spotted leaving a Circle K with her estranged husband: Cops
A 41-year-old Florida woman is facing serious charges after allegedly using her car to run over her estranged husband’s girlfriend in a fit of jealousy, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
On April 10, 2025, Christdon Reese reportedly spotted her estranged husband walking with another woman near a Circle K gas station in Auburndale, Florida. Authorities say Reese made a U-turn in a nearby parking lot, accelerated toward the couple, and deliberately struck the woman with her white Volkswagen Jetta before fleeing the scene.
The victim suffered two spinal fractures but is expected to recover. Reese was arrested the following day and charged with attempted first-degree murder, trespassing, and violation of probation from a previous retail theft conviction.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd commented on the incident, emphasizing the dangers of allowing emotions to escalate in domestic disputes. “Christdon Reese needs to learn how to control her temper,” Sheriff Judd said. “Take a deep breath, call your lawyer, call your mama, or call your preacher instead of resorting to violence.”
Reese is currently being held in the Polk County Jail without bond.
