Netflix series Million Dollar Beach House star Sarah Burack was killed in hit and run accident

Recently, news has surfaced of a hit and run incident in Hampton Bays, N.Y. in which 40-year-old Sarah Burack, who appeared in the Netflix series Million Dollar Beach House, was killed in a motor vehicle accident. On Thursday, June 19, at 2:45 pm, Sarah Burack was fatally injured in a hit-and-run.

According to officers, the real estate agent, a resident of Southampton, was found unconscious on Montauk Highway near the Villa Paul restaurant. After which she was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

On Friday, June 20, the 32-year-old murderer Amanda Kempton was arrested. She appeared in court on June 21.

Amanda Kempton pleaded not guilty to fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Amanda Kempton’s lawyer told the court that Amanda thought she had hit a traffic cone. According to Outlet, in this case, wine is not considered a factor.

According to New York Post, the marine biologist became emotional as prosecutor MacDonald Drain asked the judge to grant Amanda a higher bail. The reason for this was that Amanda fled the scene after the accident and was going to Virginia for a wedding on June 21.

In New York State, fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle accident is considered a class D offense. For this, Amanda can also be sentenced to 7 years in prison.
