According to officers, the real estate agent, a resident of Southampton, was found unconscious on Montauk Highway near the Villa Paul restaurant. After which she was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
On Friday, June 20, the 32-year-old murderer Amanda Kempton was arrested. She appeared in court on June 21.
Amanda Kempton pleaded not guilty to fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Amanda Kempton’s lawyer told the court that Amanda thought she had hit a traffic cone. According to Outlet, in this case, wine is not considered a factor.
