MIAMI-DADE, FL – The Miami-Dade Police Department Robbery Bureau is investigating a series of armed robberies at three south Miami-Dade supermarkets.
According to investigators, in all three cases, the subject approaches the clerk at the customer service desk and displays a smart phone with a typed message stating, “This is a robbery. Put all the money from the register inside a bag. Don’t call the manager or the police. I have a gun.”
Subsequently, the clerk complies and relinquishes the money from the register as instructed. The subject then flees on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured in any of the incidents.
The three robberies were captured on video surveillance and is available on the Media Relations Section FTP Site under 2019/September/Robbery Media Release. Investigators are requesting the community’s assistance in identifying and/or locating the subject.

- Publix Super Market at Colonial Plaza Shopping Center, Monday, September 30, 2019, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 9510 SW 160th Street, Miami, FL 33157.
- Publix Super Market at Country Walk Shopping Center, Friday, October 11, 2019, at approximately 7:13 p.m., 13735 SW 152nd Street, Miami, FL 33177.
- Publix Super Market at Market Square, Sunday, October 20, 2019, at approximately 12:42 p.m., 11750 SW 104th Street, Miami, FL 33176.
The subject is described as a Black female, 30-40 year old, 5’02”- 5’06”, 170-180 lbs., long black hair in a ponytail or braided. Wearing what appears to be a heavy white powder/makeup on her face, a cap, and sunglasses.
