Drive-by Shooting Leaves Three Injured In Miami

MIAMI, FL – The Miami-Dade Police Department, Hammocks District, is investigating a shooting that left three people injured.

According to investigators, two males victims were in a vehicle traveling eastbound on SW 191 Lane, when unknown subjects, riding in an all-terrain vehicle, approached and opened fire. The subjects then fled eastbound on SW 191 Lane. 

Once officers arrived, they discovered three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. An adult male and female were grazed in the head, and transported to a local hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The second male was struck in the head, and also transported to Jackson South Trauma Center in critical condition.

Preliminary information revealed that the female victim was sitting outside of her residence and stuck by a stray bullet when the shots were fired.
