COLUMBUS, OH – An illegal immigrant was arrested on Tuesday after police said he confessed to raping a 10-year-old girl on at least two occasions. He is charged with rape, a first-degree felony in Ohio.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) source told Fox News on Wednesday that the suspect, Gerson Fuentes, 27, was not in the U.S. “lawfully,” and is a Guatemalan illegal immigrant.
The case has been highly cited and harnessed by legacy news media and left-leaning publications due to the victim having travelled across stateliness to Indiana in order to have an abortion performed since Fuentes impregnated her and abortion in her state was recently outlawed by the Supreme Court’s highly controversial ruling effecting Roe verses Wade.
One such story appeared in New York Magazine just hours ago titled, “Pregnancy From Rape Is Not a Hoax,” building on the argument that abortion should not be inaccessible in cases involving rape and incest.
While many stories mention that Fuentes’ last known address is an apartment in Columbus, Ohio, little is mentioned regarding his immigration status, or such as with CNN’s Brian Stelter, a mention exists buried only in a one-liner within an extensive story analysis about the incident.
President Joe Biden also latched onto the news saying, “Imagine being that little girl,” while discussing his opposition to the high court’s decision. “I’m serious. Just imagine being that little girl.”
Former Fox News reporter and radio host Todd Starnes tweeted our earlier today blaming Biden and Harris for not securing the border.
A 10-year-old girl was raped on American soil by an illegal alien. If only Biden and Harris had secured the border. Trump was right once again.
The recently turned 10-year-old girl, meaning she was likely impregnated at just 9 years old, told police Fuentes was responsible for her pregnancy, according to the Franklin County Assistant Prosecutor.
Fuentes has not confessed to the crime and a DNA test is pending. He’s being held on a $2 million bond.
