A tragic incident in San Antonio shook the community when the bodies of Savanah Soto, a pregnant teen, and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, were found, their lives taken in a disturbing event.
The San Antonio Police Department recently announced the arrest of a 19-year-old, Christopher Preciado, charged with capital murder in connection with the heinous crime.
Additionally, his father, Ramon Preciado, 53, faces charges of abuse of a corpse for allegedly assisting in moving the bodies.
Soto, 18, and Guerra, 22, were found deceased on December 26 inside Guerra’s silver Kia Optima, parked at a northwestern San Antonio apartment complex. Both victims had suffered fatal gunshot wounds, and tragically, Soto’s full-term unborn baby also perished, plunging their families into inconsolable grief.
During a news conference, Police Sgt. Washington Moscoso revealed that the incident appeared to be linked to a drug-related transaction gone awry, shedding light on a potential motive. However, specific details regarding the narcotics exchange remain undisclosed.

The timeline of events paints a chilling picture: the couple was believed to have been slain on December 21 before their bodies were relocated to another site. Their remains were ultimately discovered in the parked vehicle on December 26.
Authorities had appealed to the public for information, sharing surveillance footage of two individuals, deemed persons of interest, operating vehicles belonging to the victims near the crime scene following the killings.
