Travis Kelce’s messages to the Kansas City Chiefs’ head coach, Andy Reid, after signing wide receiver Marquise Brown on a one-year contract, demonstrate how quickly he has been welcomed by the Chiefs Nation.

After his departure from the Arizona Cardinals and the Baltimore Ravens in 2019, Brown signed a contract for seven million dollars when he joined Atlanta.

Due to the fact that Patrick Mahomes did not have many offensive alternatives available to him in the latter half of the NFL season, Kelce feels that Brown might be the solution to the Chiefs’ receiving concerns.

Kelce revealed the text messages that Brown and Reid exchanged with one another as they came to an agreement on the deal during an interview with the New Heights podcast. Brown responded to Reid’s letter by saying, “Yessir, Love the sound of that” Reid had written, “Hollywood [Brown], think Red today, KC Red with diamonds!!!”
