Famous chef allegedly ‘ghosted’ wife and babies for a new identity in another state: ‘Gone without a trace.’

A Massachusetts lady whose reality TV chef husband allegedly abandoned her and their two children was able to find him down in a day owing to the “power of Facebook”.

According to the New York Post, the chef had relocated to Texas and used dating apps to match with other women while she was at home with her children. The saga was revealed in a Twitter thread that has millions of views. Ashley McGuire reportedly wrote a Facebook post pleading with the public to assist her in locating her husband, who had been missing for a year.  “Hi, this is my husband, Charles Withers. He enjoys being the center of attention, but I’m not sure how much he’ll like this,” the mother-of-two wrote in the post she shared to the famous Facebook group “Are We Dating the Same Guy” on Saturday. 

“Last year, while I was pregnant with our youngest child, he decided that being a husband and father was no longer his ideal lifestyle, and he vanished without a trace. “He has one baby he hasn’t seen in over a year and another he has never met. He moved out of state and changed his phone number. Ms McGuire emphasized that she did not “wish (her husband) any ill will.” “I sincerely appreciate all of your support, but please do not make threats, spread hate, or try to go out and locate him,” she said. “Truly, I only want to see this situation resolved so my children and I can restart our lives and fix the damage done.”
