Jack Ciattarelli Announces Plans to Run for Governor of New Jersey in 2025.

On Tuesday, Jack Ciattarelli formally declared his intention to run for governor of New Jersey in 2025 as a Republican.

Republican Jack Ciattarelli Enters 2025 NJ Governor’s Race:

Years in the making, Jack Ciattarelli formally declared on Tuesday night that he will run for the Republican candidacy for governor of New Jersey in the upcoming election.
“It’s time for a Jersey guy who knows what people go through daily,” he declared in front of a packed house at the American Hotel in Freehold. “Common sense problem solving, hands-on CEO who knows exactly what needs to be done and is willing to do it” is what the world needs.
Ciattarelli remarked, “I think I know a guy,” and then he “very humbly” announced his candidacy.
He continued his speech by touching on every hot topic in today’s political climate, such as taxation, curricula in schools, and aiding “police and parents.”
Ciattarelli further declared that he would “fight like hell” to change the constitution to prohibit term limits for state legislators.

The three-time contender stated that Republicans must gain more seats in the Legislature by 2025 in addition to the governor’s election. Democratic majorities are present in both chambers.
Along with criticizing Never Trump supporter state senator Jon Bramnick, he also implied that the party needed a candidate who could bring the party together rather than someone who “calls Trump supporters ‘crazies.'”
During his statement, Ciattarelli took readers back to his close defeat in November 2021 and the status of the Republican party at that time.

“We nearly succeeded in all 21 counties and 564 towns,” he remarked. Following his address, Ciattarelli told reporters that New Jerseyans are “salt of the earth people” who “like it when you show up” and that he is “by nature a retail politician” and that “no one is going to outwork” him.
He continued by saying that since he previously backed the former president and believed they performed “extremely well last time even though something got in the way of our retail operation, and that’s what we call the pandemic,” he is not worried about losing essential swing voters by supporting Trump.
This time, a pandemic is not present. He remarked, “I think we can pick up the two or three points we need to deliver.”

Following his defeat by Governor Phil Murphy, the Republican declared his intention to run again. Former lieutenant governor Kim Guadagno defeated the 62-year-old Ciattarelli in the 2017 primary.
He is a resident of Raritan and has been involved in politics for many years. He has held positions in county and municipal administration and the state legislature.
In 2020, Ciattarelli spoke at a “Stop the Steal” protest, pushing the hoax that Democrat Joe Biden was elected due to voting fraud, despite having previously dubbed former President Donald Trump a “charlatan” in 2015. Ciattarelli has not officially accepted this theory.
Even though the primary is over a year away, contenders on both sides of the issue are beginning to emerge. Ciattarelli will face Bramnick, while the Democratic contenders are Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop, and former state senator Steve Sweeney.
