On Sunday, April 21, in a released statement, the Palestinian militant group Hamas condemned the approval of billions of dollars in military aid to Israel and stated that this would give Tel Aviv a license for the Gaza aggression.
Hamas said “this support, which violates international law, is a license and a green flag for the Israel government to continue this brutal aggression against our people”.
Further, they added, “We consider this step a confirmation of the official American complicity and partnership in the war of extermination waged by the fascist occupation army against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip”.
On Saturday, April 20, The US House approved a $13 billion military aid for Israel amid its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Following the significant development, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the “much-appreciated aid bill” exhibits support for Israel and defends Western civilization.
The US bill cleared that over $9 billion will also be provided to address “the dire need for humanitarian assistance for Gaza as well as other vulnerable populations around the world”.
The aid given to Israel is much expected to strengthen their air defenses, enabling them to continue their brothel aggression over Palestinians.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, since October 7, Israeli armed forces have killed over 34000 people in Gaza. Further, more than 76000 people have been injured by the Israeli troops, which Hamas called as systematic destruction of cities and residential neighborhoods and all civil facilities and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas included that the horrific crimes committed by the Israeli army involved mass killings of defenseless civilians, including women, men, children, and senior citizens, in hospitals, shelters, tents, residential areas, and other areas that would not have been possible with a great political and military support and the over that US administrations give.
