WNC Musician Goes Missing:

According to his family and acquaintances, a musician who went to San Francisco to record songs and try out for a band has been absent for a week.

On April 30, Eric Travers disappeared from the city. According to his brother, Travers took a plane from North Carolina to San Francisco, where he slept at a motel in the Tenderloin district and auditioned for a band as a drummer.

“He was placed in a rough area of town when he booked a room at the Cathedral Hill Hotel, so I advised him to exercise caution.” Channel was informed by the missing guy’s friend Mikel Ross that the man has epilepsy and must take his prescription every twelve hours.

Travers’s motel room had his belongings and meds. He didn’t make his trip home either. It was “very unlike him” to stay away from his family and miss a trip, according to what his brother said on a GoFundMe page. The page says, “He has not returned to the hotel he was staying at to get his belongings.”

Every day, we have been checking in with the police and all of the hospitals and morgues in the Bay Area. His whereabouts have not been confirmed,” the brother added.

According to Ross, the San Francisco Police Department has received a missing person police report.

Travers has long brown hair, is 6’4″ tall, and weighs around 250 pounds. His last sighting had him donning a black San Francisco Giants baseball cap, brown leather jacket, silk shirt, and tan slacks.
