Anna Wintour, 73-year-old, once again enjoyed the title of co-chair at the Met Gala on Monday, May 1. Alongside Penelope Cruz, Michaela Coel, Roger Federer, and Dua Lipa, Vogue’s publishing icon presided over the star-studded evening to celebrate the opening of the Costume institution exhibition, Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.

Anna Wintour showed up to the 2023 Met Gala with actor Bill Nighy. But are they dating? Here you need to know some facts about Anna Wintour.

She has been the editor-in-chief of Vogue since 1988. The British journalist has presided over the Met Gala since 1995. Further, she has been married twice and has two children.

Anna went to the 2023 Met Gala with actor Bill Nighy, 73, but she later denied that she is dating the Oscar nominee. The rep said that Anna and Bill are just great friends.

Anna is legendary for her career as editor-in-chief at Vogue and her enormous influence on the fashion industry, and for beginning the alleged inspiration for Lauren Weisberger’s larger-than-life character, Miranda Priestley, of the bestselling book The Devil Wears Prada. She’s been EIC at Vogue since 1980, but in 2013, she became artistic director for the magazine’s publisher, Conde Nast. She’s also widely known for her amazing style sense, made instantly recognizable with her unmistakable pageboy haircut, bangs, and large sunglasses.

Anna is a mother of two children, Charles Shaffer, born in 1985, and Katherine Shaffer, born in 1987, with her first husband, David Shaffer. After divorcing, she married Shelby Bryan.

David Shaffer is a renowned child psychiatrist in New York, and Anna and David were married in 1984. David already has two children with his first wife, but it didn’t restrict him to have two more with Anna.

After her divorce, she started dating business executive, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur Shely Dryan in 1999. As per some reports, their relationship ended her marriage to David. Shely and Anna married in 2004, and later both split away in 2020.
