The majority of individuals only ever hope to reach the summit of Mount Everest once, but 29 times, Kami Rita Sherpa, one of the most accomplished climbing guides in the world, has succeeded in doing so.

According to media sources, Rita arrived at the 8,849-meter (29,032-foot) summit of “Sagarmatha,” also known as Mount Everest, in Nepal early on Sunday, May 12. This information was provided by Mingma Sherpa of Seven Summits Treks.

According to the report, Kami Rita not only accomplished the amazing achievement of reaching the summit, but he also surpassed his record for the most climbs.

The 54-year-old Sherpa had begun his descent to the mountain’s lower camps and was said to be in good health following the ascent.

In the previous year, Rita beat the record for the most summit ascents on both his first expedition and his second, which took place a week apart.

He and another Sherpa guide, Pasand Dawa, were allegedly vying for the title of most summit ascents of the 29,032-foot peak. Two times fewer than Rita, Dawa has accomplished the feat 27 times.

Just last week, Rita from the base camp posted on Instagram, “Back again for the 29th summit to the top of the world…One man’s job, another man/woman’s dream”.

Rita has arrived at the base camp safely, according to his most recent Instagram update.
