Bobbie Jean Carter, the younger sister of Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys, passed away in December 2023 at 41 years old. Her passing followed the deaths of Aaron Carter, Nick’s younger brother, in November 2022 at 34, and Leslie Carter, another sibling, who died at 25 in 2012.

Bobbie Jean Carter was discovered unresponsive in her bathroom on December 23, 2023, as reported by People. The cause of her passing was determined to be “intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine,” according to a report from the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Department obtained by People.

She is survived by her young daughter, Bella. Carter led a relatively private life, but reportedly worked as a wardrobe stylist and makeup artist for Aaron Carter in the early 2000s, as per TMZ.

She also starred alongside her siblings on the 2006 E! reality show “House of Carters,” which aired for eight episodes and delved into their relationships and family dynamics.

Currently, Nick Carter only has one living full sibling, his younger sister Angel Carter Conrad.

In a heartfelt Instagram post on January 4, Nick Carter, 44, addressed the passing of Bobbie Jean Carter, sharing a nostalgic childhood photo. In the caption, he expressed his deep sorrow, acknowledging the ongoing losses his family has faced, particularly the recent loss of their sister Bobbie Jean. He thanked everyone for their love and kind words, emphasizing the importance of cherishing time with loved ones as life is fragile. He expressed his belief that she is now at peace with God and declared his love for her.

Bobbie Jean Carter’s mother, Jane Carter, also provided a statement to TMZ about the profound impact of her daughter’s passing.
