At Fifth Avenue and Terrace Street, a bus struck a building, according to the Seattle Fire Department. Paramedics and firefighters assessed a number of the passengers involved in the crash.

It is advised that cars and pedestrians stay away from the area.
An indoor skatepark was damaged in January when a King County Metro bus struck a structure close to 16th Avenue South and South Jackson Street. The bus carried about twenty-five passengers, and no casualties were recorded.
In November 2023, a King County Metro bus struck a building in Seattle’s Belltown neighbourhood, killing one person and seriously hurting the driver of another vehicle.
