SACRAMENTO: The former chief of staff of California state senator Marie Alvarado-Gil, Chad Condit, has filed a lawsuit against her, claiming that she forced him into a “quid pro quo relationship” that caused serious physical harm. According to many media sources, the lawsuit, which was submitted to the Sacramento Superior Court, asserts that Alvarado-Gil threatened to fire Condit if he didn’t comply with pressure to engage in sexual activity while traveling for work.

Condit Suffered Significant Injuries

Condit, the son of earlier congressional representative Gary Condit, claims that his fear of resigning from office motivated him to comply. The lawsuit goes on to accuse Alvarado-Gil of fostering a “hostile work atmosphere” and describes an alleged event in which Condit suffered significant back injuries, involving three herniated discs & a collapsed hip, after being coerced into having oral sex in a small car.

According to the lawsuit, there have been unwanted advances, sexual acts, and power abuse in the relationship. The Republican Alvarado-Gil, a former Democrat, has not yet addressed the accusations in public. Condit argues that Alvarado-Gil’s persistent advances were used as a pretext for his dismissal, and the case emphasizes that he was fired from his job in December as a result.

She Has A Lifetime Free Pass

According to the lawsuit, the married mother of six children mishandled her authority when she signed a disciplinary letter alleging Condit acting inappropriately. Alvarado-Gil is also called an “erratic” and “controlling” employer in Condit’s lawsuit, which also claims that she has a “lifetime free pass” for cheating on her spouse. According to additional reports, Alvarado-Gil originally appointed Condit in the year 2022 as her chief of staff while she was a Democratic Party member.
