Las Vegas Man Allegedly Severely Beat Gas Station Customer For Breaking Nacho Cheese Machine
Las Vegas: A 47-year-old Las Vegas gas station employee is facing serious charges after a violent altercation with a customer who allegedly damaged a nacho cheese machine. Myron Bullie, an attendant at an Arco gas station, has been charged with attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon after severely beating a customer with a baseball bat.
The Incident Unfolds
In the early hours of September 3, 2023, officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department were called to the Arco station in response to a report of a man lying on the grass, bleeding heavily from his head, nose, and ears. Upon arrival, police found the victim in critical condition and rushed him to a nearby hospital. The man sustained severe injuries, including multiple brain bleeds, skull fractures, and other traumatic wounds. According to witnesses, the conflict began when the victim, while purchasing nachos, overloaded the machine with cheese, causing it to malfunction. This seemingly minor mishap escalated into a violent encounter that left the customer fighting for his life.
He Better Have Learned a Lesson
A witness, filling up his vehicle then, noticed the injured man and approached Bullie, standing outside the store. When asked if he had called for help, Bullie allegedly responded, “I’m not going to call 911. He better have learned a lesson.” Disturbed by the situation, the witness called the police, leading to the authorities’ arrival at the scene. Bullie later told the police that after the nacho machine malfunctioned, he kicked the victim out of the store. However, the customer returned shortly after, demanding his nachos. At this point, the situation escalated into a physical confrontation. According to the police report, Bullie, armed with a baseball bat, pushed the victim out of the store. A scuffle ensued, during which Bullie allegedly struck the victim multiple times with the bat, leaving him incapacitated for several minutes.
A Brutal Assault
Bullie reportedly admitted to hitting the customer but downplayed the severity of his actions. When questioned by the police about the force of the attack, Bullie allegedly said, “If it were hard, his head would’ve been smashed on the… floor, and he would’ve been dead.” Despite this statement, the victim’s injuries were severe enough to warrant immediate medical attention, including treatment for multiple brain bleeds and fractures. Court records show that Bullie is now facing charges of attempted murder and battery with the use of a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm. His bail has been set at $10,000.
Legal Consequences
The incident has sparked outrage in the local community, as many question how a minor issue involving a nacho cheese machine could lead to such extreme violence. Bullie’s fate now lies in the hands of the court, where he faces serious consequences for his actions. If convicted, the charges could result in significant jail time. As the victim continues to recover from his injuries, the case serves as a chilling reminder of how quickly a seemingly trivial situation can spiral into a life-threatening confrontation.
