Authorities In Florida Report Seeing A Missing Milwaukee Woman In Fort Lauderdale

MILWAUKEE: A Milwaukee woman who has gone missing has a new lead. Laquita Ward, whose family says she had a cognitive impairment, was last seen on September 11 at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport. When Ward was resting at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on September 15, a deputy from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office reportedly got in touch with her in Florida. The deputy informed her that she was not able to spend the night at the airport and gave her a list of available services. “She did admit to them that she belonged to Milwaukee, that she had no money, no place to stay, and no food. Ward’s grandma, Marcella Adkins, stated, “And they just let her go.”
