In relation to one of Arkansas’s most well-known and extensively followed cold cases—the disappearance of Morgan Nick—a “significant development” is scheduled for release. On October 1, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., the Alma Police Department will host a news conference to discuss the important development in the investigation.

Morgan When Nick was taken on June 9, 1995, as she was playing with pals and chasing fireflies, she was only 6 years old. When she was seized, she was at an Alma baseball, yards from her mother Colleen. Morgan is still missing despite the extensive investigation that followed and the continued efforts of law enforcement in the years that have passed.

“Until someone can tell me that Morgan did not survive, then I’m going to fight every day for her to come home,” Colleen Nick told KATV in 2021. “There’s a tremendous amount of truth and hope and encouragement in the fact that when Morgan was taken, the state of Arkansas stood up.” Colleen Nick established the Morgan Nick Foundation a year after Morgan vanished, enabling others in comparable circumstances to get in touch with and assist other parents and families who have lost a child.

“Identifying a missing child may be challenging, but identifying a troubled child is not difficult for any of us, and our actions could have a significant impact on the child’s future,” the speaker stated. This is the right moment to talk about something that has been bothering you or something you have simply always wanted to tell. This is what Morgan would want to know if Nick had the chance to speak with her or if Morgan reads this report:
