Teenager Injured in Miami-Dade County Shooting, Police Investigating

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities in Miami-Dade County are investigating a shooting that left a 17-year-old injured on Tuesday night. The incident took place near the Cutler Manor Apartments, located in the 10000 block of Southwest 216th Street.

Police were alerted to the scene through a ShotSpotter notification, a technology that detects gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered the teenage victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue promptly arrived and transported the teen to Jackson South Medical Center. Fortunately, the victim was reported to be in stable condition.

At this time, police have not released any details regarding a potential suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
