San Antonio mom of 4 Suzanne Simpson still missing after husband, his business partner arrested
The search for Suzanne Simpson, a missing 51-year-old Texas mother of four, is entering its third week as police continue to investigate her disappearance, which has resulted in the arrest of her husband, Brad Simpson, and his business partner.
Suzanne was last seen outside her San Antonio home on the morning of October 7, according to her neighbor. Police were alerted after the neighbor witnessed Suzanne and Brad arguing. A police report obtained by WOAI, an NBC News affiliate, revealed that a neighbor saw Brad physically restraining Suzanne by grabbing her upper torso. Later, the neighbor reported hearing screams from a nearby wooded area, followed by the sound of Brad’s truck leaving about an hour later.
Suzanne’s mother, Barbara Clark, told WOAI that she was aware of one previous physical altercation between the couple but expressed confusion over her daughter’s disappearance, saying it was out of character for Brad. During a candlelight vigil, Clark shared her heartbreaking belief that her daughter may no longer be alive.
Brad Simpson was arrested on October 10 and faces two charges of family violence. The San Antonio Public Defender’s Office, which is representing him, has declined to comment on the case.
