Champaign County Crime Stoppers is requesting the public’s help to identify three individuals involved in a recent theft at a local smoke shop.
On October 19, around 8:30 p.m., officers from the University of Illinois Police Department responded to reports of a theft at Hunny’s Smoke Shop, located on South Sixth Street in Champaign.
The suspects include a Black male and two Black females. Police are now asking for assistance from anyone who may have information about these individuals or their whereabouts.
Champaign County Crime Stoppers is calling on the community to help identify three suspects involved in a recent theft at Hunny’s Smoke Shop on South Sixth Street in Champaign. The first suspect, a Black male, is described as having a slender build and was last seen wearing a black hat, a grey sweatshirt, and black pants.
One of the two Black female suspects was reported to have long braids and was wearing a blue jacket, a white shirt, and black pants. The other female suspect, also described as having a long braid, was wearing a blue jacket, grey pants, and blue-and-white shoes.
