Actor Paul Teal took his last breathe after battling with cancer
After a fight with cancer, actor Paul Teal, who was best known for playing Josh Avery in the seventh season of The CW’s One Tree Hill, passed away at the age of 35. In a heartbreaking statement, Teal’s representatives at STW Talent Agency acknowledged his passing. Everyone who had the honor of knowing him was moved by his extraordinary talent and gentle nature. They wrote, “The emptiness he leaves behind will be profoundly felt.”
In a touching Instagram tribute, Emilia Torello, his fiancée, wrote: “Paul, you were my future, my rock, my love, and my soon-to-be husband. You sent love into my heart, butterflies into my stomach, and laughing into my lungs. You were taken prematurely, in a battle that you fought bravely without fail (sic).”
“Although a piece of me died with you, I swear to strive to find joy in life as hard as you fought to live every single day,” she said at the end of the note. I am the luckiest person in the world because I got to call you mine, and the world is fortunate to have ever had a moment with Paul Teal. You have my undying love.
Teal’s career included roles in television and movies in addition to One Tree Hill. In addition to starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas in Adrian Lyne’s psychological thriller Deep Water (2022), he also starred in Patricia Clarkson’s upcoming feature Lilly. In addition, Teal had prominent roles on popular TV shows such as George and Tammy, Outer Banks, The Staircase, Dynasty, The Walking Dead, and Good Behavior.
