How to Apply for CalFresh

Upon approval, recipients are issued an EBT card, and their benefits will be loaded during the appropriate 10-day window each month. Expansion of CalFresh to SSI Recipients

Since June 1, 2019, recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or State Supplementary Payment (SSP) programs are also eligible to receive CalFresh benefits.
