Scarlett Johansson surprised fans with a special cameo on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live during its Christmas 2024 edition. The actress, known for her versatile roles in film, had to sit through her husband Colin Jost’s humorous remarks about her age, their child, and their sex life in the show’s iconic “Weekend Update” segment.

The episode, hosted by Only Murders in the Building star Martin Short, featured the beloved tradition of the “joke exchange,” where Jost and fellow anchor Michael Che write jokes for each other to read live on air without prior review. This year, the exchange leaned heavily into awkward territory, with Jost forced to deliver jokes in a “Black voice” and read a quip implying Kamala Harris still supports slavery reparations.
