In the heaviest lake effect bands, Chautauqua County may receive up to 2 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
In the meanwhile, accumulation of 2 to 5 inches is anticipated in Wayne, Northern Cayuga, and Oswego counties. In certain places, gusty winds of up to 35 mph might also result in blowing snow, which drastically reduces visibility.
