Deputies in Palm Beach County are actively searching for potential victims who may have encountered a local man recently arrested on serious sexual assault charges involving a minor.

The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Ricould Grier, was taken into custody this week and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail. He faces charges of sexual assault, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).

Authorities have expressed concerns that Grier may have more victims who have yet to come forward. Investigators are urging anyone who may have had contact with Grier or possesses relevant information about his activities to come forward as they continue their efforts to uncover the full extent of the case.

The PBSO remains committed to ensuring the safety of the community and is working diligently to provide support to any additional victims who may be identified during the ongoing investigation.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), Ricould Grier is known to frequently visit several areas within the county, including Lake Worth Beach, West Palm Beach, and Riviera Beach.

Authorities have highlighted these locations as part of their ongoing investigation, as they believe Grier may have had contact with individuals in these communities. Detectives are urging residents who may have interacted with Grier in these areas or have any information related to his activities to come forward.

The PBSO continues to investigate the case thoroughly, emphasizing the importance of community assistance in identifying potential victims and ensuring public safety.

Grier was arrested for forcibly sexually assaulting a girl between the ages of 12 and 17 years old while she was taking a walk near 14th Avenue South, close to the hotel she was staying with family on the morning of Nov. 25, 2024, according to PBSO.

According to details from the criminal probable cause affidavit, a young girl went for a walk around 5:30 a.m. while her family was still asleep at the hotel where they were staying.

Roughly 20 minutes into her walk, she noticed the headlights of a vehicle approaching from behind but initially chose to ignore it. The driver reportedly called out to her from his car, but she could not hear him as she was listening to music with her headphones on.

When she removed her headphones to better hear what he was saying, the man, later identified as Ricould Grier, allegedly got out of his vehicle and approached her. As he neared, he made physical contact, prompting the teen to respond firmly, demanding that he leave her alone.

The affidavit states that the situation escalated when Grier allegedly forced her to the ground near an abandoned building and committed a violent criminal act against her. Despite the traumatic event, the girl was ultimately able to call 911 for help. Authorities later arrested Grier, and the investigation remains ongoing as officials work to identify any additional victims.
