Palm Beach County agencies will march in Trump’s inauguration procession in Washington, D.C.

President-elect Donald Trump’s Inaugural Parade will feature two Palm Beach County ensembles. The Florida Firefighters Pipes and Drum from Boca Raton and the Palm Beach Police & Fire Honor Guard Unit will be the sole Florida representation in the parade, occurring on January 20 after President-elect Donald J. Trump and Senator J.D. Vance are sworn in.

The parade will feature almost 7,500 people from 23 states and various groups such as veterans, first responders, marching bands from high schools and universities, and equestrian teams. Inaugural parades have been around since President George Washington’s first election. This practice was made official with President Madison’s inauguration in 1809.
