In Miami, two women are being held on suspicion of using a metal pipe to assault an ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend. Following the attack on Friday at 3:25 p.m., Rosa Carrazco Perez, 34, and Marla Perez Lores, 25, are charged with aggravated violence. Arrest reports from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office indicate that the women are cousins. Perez Lores and her ex-boyfriend reportedly broke up four months ago, according to the authorities.

According to an arrest record, Perez Lores and her cousin observed the ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend waiting by her car when they pulled up to an unidentified Miami house on January 17. Then, carrying a metal pipe, Perez Lores exited the passenger seat and “intentionally and willfully struck” the victim “multiple times in the head and body.” Carrazco Perez then allegedly exited the vehicle, seized the victim’s hair, and flung her to the ground. According to the sheriff’s office, Carrazco Perez kept the victim on the ground as her cousin kept striking her with the pipe.

Perez Lores is also accused of biting the victim’s left thigh while she was on the ground. According to the sheriff’s office, the ex-boyfriend stepped in after he witnessed the two women assaulting his girlfriend after leaving his house. Consequently, the metal pipe struck his right hand as well. Nevertheless, he managed to separate the relatives and brought his girlfriend into his house. The first victim had a bite mark on her thigh, a slight laceration to her neck, and a laceration to her head, according to the authorities. The right hand of the second victim was bruised. Until deputies showed up, both suspects remained at the site. The women were being held on a $10,000 bail in the jail.
