Miss Teen USA 2023 is stepping down shortly after Miss USA Noelia Voigt. UmaSofia Srivastava, who clinched the 2023 crown in September, shared a detailed statement on Wednesday revealing her resignation due to a misalignment of her personal values with the organization’s direction.

In her statement, Srivastava expressed gratitude for the support she received and reflected on her time as Miss NJ Teen USA, highlighting the fulfillment of representing her state as a first-generation Mexican-Indian American nationally.

Miss USA CEO and President Laylah Rose emphasized the organization’s commitment to celebrating and empowering women, aiming to inspire women to pursue new dreams with integrity. Rose assured that the well-being of all involved with Miss USA remains a top priority.
