1 dead after shooting in Pompano Beach

In Pompano Beach, Florida, a tragic incident occurred on Wednesday night where someone lost their life in a shooting. The unfortunate event took place around 7:15 p.m. on Northwest Sixth Street, between Northwest 27 and 24 Avenues.

Upon receiving the report, deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office and personnel from Pompano Beach Fire Rescue rushed to the scene. The Fire Rescue team discovered a male victim who had been shot and immediately transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Gerdy St. Louis, confirmed these details. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation of this terrible crime.
