The Golden Bachelorette’ cast: Meet the 24 men looking to charm Joan Vassos

299

Ex-“The Golden Bachelor” Joan Vassos is seeking a second shot at love as ABC’s first leading lady on the first season of “The Golden Bachelorette.” In actuality, she will get 24 opportunities to win her heart from 24 guys. With the popularity of “The Golden Bachelor,” USA TODAY exclusively disclosed in February that 61-year-old Vassos, a private school administrator from Rockville, Maryland, was one of the top candidates for the show.

In the previous season of the show, Vassos enjoyed a lovely evening with Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner. She later gained popularity among fans when she made the painful decision to leave her daughter behind due to a health issue. Vassos, however, has returned to “The Golden Bachelorette,” telling USA TODAY that “you have to” in order to pursue love once more in her golden years. A glimpse of the 24 guys competing for Vassos’ love is given here. Whether any of them can grant her a happy ever after will become clear with time.
