Cause of death revealed for Garrison Brown, son of ‘Sister Wives’ stars Janelle and Kody Brown

It’s really heartbreaking to hear about the passing of Garrison Brown, a former cast member of “Sister Wives.” An autopsy report obtained by USA TODAY from the Coconino County Health and Human Services Medical Examiner’s Office has revealed that Garrison died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The manner of death has been ruled as a suicide. The report also mentioned that ethanol intoxication, also known as alcohol poisoning, was listed as a contributing factor to his death. Garrison had a blood alcohol level (BAC) of 0.307% according to an iliac blood analysis and 0.370% per a vitreous analysis. It’s important to note that a BAC over 0.40% is considered potentially fatal.

The Flagstaff Police Department spokesperson, Sgt. Jerry L. Rintala, confirmed Garrison’s death as a result of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. They stated that there was no indication of foul play involved.

Garrison’s family, including his parents Kody and Janelle, expressed their deep sadness and asked for privacy during this difficult time. Janelle wrote a heartfelt post on March 5, describing Garrison as a bright spot in their lives and expressing the immense void his loss has left. His brother, Hunter Brown, also paid tribute to him on Instagram, sharing a collection of photos and referencing a poignant David Romano poem.
